Umarex Gauntlet PCP .25 Pellet Bolt Action Rifle
The Umarex Gauntlet® .25 was designed for hunting. It's an economically priced, precision regulated PCP (Pre-Charged Pneumatic) air rifle that shoots airgun pellets one at a time. A bolt action is used to cock the rifle, advance an 8-round rotary magazine and insert the next pellet into the chamber. A 13-cubic inch tank holds normal atmospheric air pressurized to 3,000 psi (pounds per square inch). The regulator that ensures the consistency from shot-to-shot is set to 1,900 psi output presssure. It's this regulated pressure that delivers 27 consistent shots on target when using a 25 grain pellet. The regulated pressure and pellet weight combined creates a velocity of 895 feet per second, which produces 45 foot pounds of energy at the muzzle or 60 Joules. With a 3 lb trigger and 27 regulated consistent shots the Umarex Gauntlet is ideal for hunting. The .25 caliber offers excellent small to mid-game knockdown power. The cheekpiece is adjustable—it can be raised or lowered by the turn of a wheel and is locked in place by turning the rear sling stud. A forward sling stud is also incorporated.
